I Like Thursdays #31-Thanksgiving Edition

Happy Thanksgiving.
Today is all about spending time with those we love so my post is short and sweet.

For years and years and years, I have had pumpkin pie for breakfast.
I don't even know when I started doing this.
At first it was a funny family joke
but I found out recently that I am not the only one that does this.
Mom may have had a very good idea.

What if after dinner you are just too full to have pie.
If you have it for breakfast,
you are happy all day long.

That's my story.

I've almost finished my quilt.
Tuesday was our last sunny day for quite a while
so I took it out to the deck unfinished to get a good picture.
Tony Dog had to inspect.
I think he approved.

The binding is finished
but I still need to go back and quilt those 3 rows of sashing  I missed.
No big deal.
It will happen.

I hope your day is blessed and filled with the love of family and friends.

Happy Thanksgiving. I agree pumpkin pie for breakfast makes sense. Fruit, Pumpkin is a fruit I think, milk, eggs.....fresh whipped cream.

Great finish. I'made not sure when I started eating Pumpkin pie for Breakfast. This year I started early. I bought my Pies. Having pie this morning will give me time to sew the 1st clue of Quiltville Mystery.

Lovely quilt. Pie for breakfast is a win-win solution to the overeating that goes on on holidays. Happy Thanksgiving.
