On The Needles

I'm almost to the toe decrease on Sweet Georgia for the Pooling Sock Yarn Challenge.
I have a week to get this one finished.

I'd be farther along on Sweet Georgia if I hadn't spent my knitting time on these.
I've wanted to try toe up for a while
and this time I just sat down and started.
No hesitation at all.
I set them aside to finish Sweet Georgia.

This is another 3S Shawl using Jiffy yarn and size 10 1/2 needles.
I'm also doing a k1m1 for the center increases instead of yo.
I'm going to knit until I only have enough yarn for the edge.
Killing 2 birds here, a new shawl for me and this yarn out of the stash.

I LOVE doing toe-up. Even if a pattern starts with the cuff, I do toe-up instead. I like it because you can avoid that dreaded, "Am I going to have enough yarn?" thing... just knit until you get close to the end of the yarn. All of your projects are really pretty. Love the shawl!

You are making great progress on these projects.

I want to try a toe-up pattern this year.

Great projects Judy! Your socks are really beautiful. I would like to try toe-up socks, and I see you are doing both socks at the same time. I'm tempted to try that next.....

Nice job on the toe up socks! Sweet Georgia is very pretty also. Have you posted this on Patchwork Times? I can't find that post...
