Stash Report 6.20.10

Wow. today is not the 20th, it's the 27th! Did I lose a week somewhere.....if I edit the title then I have to have Judy change the link so I'm just going to leave it be and embrace my dorkiness.

This week I focused on my crumb quilt. You would think after this quilt that my crumb bucket would be empty but it isn't. There is a whole lot of room in it but it is no where near empty. I really like the way this one turned out. It's fun to pick a fabric and know what I used it in or where/who I got it from. Too bad I can't say that about all the fabrics.

I managed to finish this top, made the binding and the backing is almost all put together. That makes the stash report look good to me.

This week's report:
Used this Week: 12 yards
Used Year to Date: 151 yards
Added this Week: 0 yards
Added Year to Date: 133 yards
Net Used for 2010: 18

If you go to Judy L's page, you can see her report and the report of others.

Nice numbers Judy! We are quite similar (except you're a BIT more in the black than I am!) :0) Hopefully that will change within a week! NO MORE FABRIC BUYING FOR ME!!! I've been self-banned!!!

Crumb quilters amaze me! I tried my hand at it with two blocks, and I had enough! Those blocks have joined my other orphan pile that will someday be an "kitchen-sink" quilt.

Woweeeee! That is one happy quilt! Makes me want to dive into my scrap bag! I'm still trying to get my mystery project caught up.

Have you ever had a salad that grows while you are eating it.... I feel like my scrap bins grow every time I start pulling from them. I am working on a "string" quilt, which is causing the "crumb" pile to increase. After seeing your awesome "crumb" quilt, I may have to revisit my bucket.

Wohoooo! Beautiful quilt and perfect stash numbers. Artistic and technical score: 10!!! That's what you would have scored in ice skating ( do they still use this system today?)... Happy sewing!

I know why you're mixed up on the dates....it doesn't feel like the end of June here, does it? We are still having cool weather but occasional bits of sun; at least we now know there is one! We finally had a day above 75, the first since last September.....
