I Think I Found a Little Mojo

I'm finally excited about sewing. Not so much quilting, although I did make 2 blocks for my Stashbuster Not So Ugly BOM while at Marian's on Wednesday.

I've been in need of a new swimsuit for a while now. After searching online shops, almost ordering fabric, I remembered I had done that a couple years ago. So I unearthed the box and found my pattern and spent this morning sewing this up. I was a bit excited when I tried it on the first time and it was a bit too big. Yeah! So I made my adjustments and now it's finished and ready for the real test, the hot tub. I think after my day, a nice soak is in order.

The baby chickens are growing like crazy. They are going to be ready for the big pen in no time at all--I'm thinking in 2 to 3 more weeks for the older girls. They sure are fun to watch.

Time to get dinner started. Friday night, pizza night. Yummers

I am glad you found time to sew - does that mean your mojo has come home??? The swimsuit is great, and the fact that you had to make adjustments to the size, well, that is a nice boost for the ego!! I think it looks great - and I hope you not only wear it out, I hope you use it so much you have to make another one!!!
I have always wanted a duck..... for some reason, I have no idea why. So enjoy your chickens and I hope you find more time to sew. And no, it does not have to be 'quilt' related. Sewing is for the soul, to bring you peace and, for me, relaxation. Does it do that for you too??? I am just glad that you played with your machine and had some fun!!! That is the best part. And saying that, i should get back to my machine. I went in there yesterday and no one bothered me!! I think I am going to try that again today.... ;-)

I like your swimsuit. It has been years since I've sewn swimsuits. When the girls were growing up I used to make their gymnastic uniforms for their competition. Lots of fun!

When are you going to model for us? LOL!

Very pretty fabric, I am glad you had it in your stash. Nice swimsuit, did it withstand the hot tub test? :)

NIce suit. Glad that you found your mojo! You'll have to post after your test in the hot tub, but just make sure you didn't sew it with a disovable bobbin thread@!#$%^&%$#! LOL
