Design Wall Monday

I started laying out my Split 9 Windmill on Tuesday. And this is where I left it~other than the blocks that fell off the wall already.  My flannel backed table cloth is no where near large enough to put this on the wall. I have to start over and lay it out on the bed, stack and label rows before bedtime. That's why it's still on the wall, I've been doing so many other things besides quilting. So every time I walk by, I check the floor and then admire the wall. I don't think I've turned my sewing machine on all week. I have worked with the long arm a bit but nothing is finished yet.

This is my Goodwill find this week. If you want, you can read about it here. I love this quilt!

Your Split 9 Windmill is looking great. And what a find at Goodwill! It is sad what people give away, but thankfully it made it to Goodwill and not the trash.

The split nine Windmill is going to be a wonderful quilt.... Scrap quilts are my favorite.....

How good of you to rescue a quilt that was lovingly made....

I like how it spins in the middle there. Glad you got a good deal at Goodwill. It's sad that whoever had it didn't want it.

This layout looks amazing! How can you resist sewing it together?!?

Love the layout on this one. It will wait happily until you are ready to sew. That is one of the nice things about fabric - it is patient.
