What's On My Design Wall-Week 5

I've been working off and on trying to figure out the row robin. Every time I think I have a plan, I change my mind. I made the row of picket fence but I need a transition row to the tulips. I made the birdhouses and butterflies to put on as side borders but I've changed my mind about that--today anyhow.

I've folded the rows up and put them away. This is the movie watching bed and today the kids will be here and probably at sometime want to watch a movie. And my brain needs to work some more.

This is what is on my longarm. I'm about 2/3rds done with the quilting but Hubby wanted to go over to dad's to see the new tractor. So we did, then came home and crashed on the couch. I'm anxious to get this UFO crossed off the list.

Ooooppps, I forgot to add:
Check out Patchwork Times for other What's On My Design Wall Posts. Thanks Judy for keeping this going.

I love the picket fence and tulips. I think the butterflies and birdhouses will work wherever you decide to use them.

That is darling - I've never done a row quilt - but I love them. Unfortunately I don't have any ideas right now - Don is having a not so good day and it is taking almost all my time. He is napping now - so I have a few spare minutes - thought I'd use them to read some blogs.

I am so excited to get your comment....you are the first to come on my blog!!! I'm glad to "meet" you too!! I live in Central Washington, and it's about 90 today and is supposed to warm up more over the next few days! Our family is gathering for the 4th at a DIL's and it will be hot so think I'll take a water sprayer and my ice water. I don't do to well in the heat!
Thanks for compliment on my quilts!! Your "row" quilt looks lovely--are you doing applica (sp?) around those tulips? Wow, that's gonna be beautiful, hand or machine sewn!! Take care and ttyl.
