ScrappyHappy Saturday

The July color for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge is Aqua.
I don't have a lot of aqua in my stash or my scraps.
I had to do a little stash enhancement the other day.
I added a few new aquas to my limited collection.

This month I am making the spool block for the Row Quilt.
I love this block in any size.
Now that I have the new fabrics,
I will kit up the remaining 8 blocks I need for this row
and use them for leader/enders.

See other great Scrappy (they don't look like scrap) projects

Love your fabrics. Teal, aqua and turquoise was a color group I have not used until the rainbow challenge last year. Not sure why because they are such beautiful colors. Now I add these colors in my stash when they are on sale and then into my scrappy quilts.

Teal, Aqua, Turquoise... ahhh the colours of the ocean. Makes me dream of my days in Hawaii, I need a tropical vacation.

I like any size spools too! Only reason I have a few aqua scraps now is because I made a red and aqua spool quilt earlier this year.

Cute, I sometimes have to enhance my scraps a bit as well.

Love that I am not the only one that buys the colour of the month. I just can not help myself. Great spools.

Hehe. I was thinking of buying some teals while on vacation so I could play along this month. Love the spool blocks. Have fun playing with your new purchases.
