Design Wall Monday and Quiltville Mystery LInk Up

I kind of got carried away with my 9 patches for the On Ringo Lake mystery at Quiltville
Why make 50 when 75 are so easy to do.

I love sewing the short strip sets.

And then cutting them with the Go Cutter.
I haven't finished my tumbler leader/ender yet.
Thinking I needed more blocks,
I cut a bunch more.
Only to find a bin full of them all ready to go.
LOL, sometimes I amaze myself.
Oh well, they are seeds for another quilt.

Before starting the mystery, I decided to complete the baby quilt top.
I wish I would have gotten a good picture but again,
the rain and dark interfered with my plan.

This week I'll get the back and batting ready for it
and maybe start quilting.
It all depends on how this nasty cold treats me.

I'm  linking up today with Quiltville and Small Quilts and Doll Quilts.

NICE!!!! I always like to see the quilts made by people who go "off the beaten path" so to speak!

Lol, it's good to make a few extras.
Nice baby quilt top finish, too.

It looks like you and I are doing similar colors for the mystery. I'm using grey for instead of the coral--what about you?
Great baby quilt!

It looks like lots is going on in your quilting room! I love the mystery fabrics and the baby quilt is great! I am not doing the mystery, too many other projects are calling me!

Love your colors! Great minds think alike! Mine are also red and blue. My third color will be lighter blues... how about you?

The baby quilt sampler looks great. I think Bonnie lured us with an easy block to start. Clue #2 will have 160 1.5" HSTs or something like that . . . You've chosen a great colorway.

I love seeing different color choices. This is going to be great. Don't feel bad about the tumbler project. I'm still cutting tumblers. I'll likely have enough to make a quilt big enough to tent the house when I'm done.
