On The Needles

Brace yourself!
I have an announcement!
I picked up my knitting needles
and worked on my No Purl Monkey Socks!!!!!

I haven't touched these socks since May.
I feel bad about that,
but the return of the missing mojo is exciting.

I didn't make much progress,
only the pink section but
any progress is good at this point.

I must be careful though,
I might loose my sewing mojo for knitting
and I don't want to do that right now.
Maybe a a row here, a row there for now.

Doesn't matter,
I'm just excited to be knitting again!
Now to train those 2 kittens to lay nice and leave the yarn alone.

See what others have on their needles
Isn't Judy L's sweater just the cutest thing ever?~!

What great looking socks. And I know what you mean about not letting knitting take over. I have to almost work at making myself balance. I am currently on the road so I brought my sweater front with me: an easy pattern that I don't have to pay attention to. ;-) Fun to be on the computer while DH is driving.

Welcome back to your knitting needles. I have the opposite problem. I have been on a knitting frenzy and have hardly touched my applique. I feel the urge coming back!!! Must be the weather.

I'm loving these socks. I'm going to try to get a pair done by the end of the year.
Thanks

It is funny how we can swing back and forth from knitting to quilting and back again. I'm on a mission to knit up the huge yarn stash so I can get back to sewing handwork. I AM making progress! Knitting sweaters seems to help.

Glad to see you're back to knitting! Hope you can strike a balance between the two, and then there's crocheting also!

Great looking socks and glad your mojo has returned. I have the problem of having lots of mojo for knitting, but no time to watch videos to learn how to do toe up kind, or 2 at a time. Once I get going on socks, it's all I want to do. Poor quilting is suffering.lol
