On The Needles

Not much yarn fondling this week.
I spent most of my recliner time napping under a quilt.
Crazy, nasty cold!
I did knit a few rows on the Baby Beanie.

I did not touch my Jeck socks.

I did order this book from Amazon.
I have not given up on making myself a sweater.
It was big enough to cover the house.
I took it all apart.
I made myself a shawl instead.
I love my shawl.
I am wearing it right now.

What's on your needles?
Check out Judy's socks and other needled projects here.

My needles have been idle this week, but I have several projects started: a baby sweater, a reader's wrap, two washcloths, and a dishtowel. I really need to get busy on these long, stalled projects!

I keep getting inspired to do socks but I want to do toe up...just so I can use the yarn I have, since I can't get anymore. I'll tackle it soon. Last time I tried, about 4 years ago the pattern was written in Greek, at least to me. I am almost ready to try again.

Do you think if I just added a few more stitches to the Baby Beanie, that would make it large enough for a 4 - 6 month old?

Hope you're feeling better real soon!

LOVE the baby beanie yarn... too cute! Your sweater book looks so interesting! I so want to make a wonderful sweater, but there is no need... I would melt down here in Louisiana in a sweater. I'll have to be satisfied with the Reader's Wrap I am working on... a really FUN knit... my mission is to tempt YOU into making one, too! HAHA! Hope you feel better soon.

If this lingers, hie yourself to a doctor 'cause I've heard about a lot of pneumonia around lately. Don't you love that Amazing yarn?

love the yarn for the beanie. I made a sweater vest once I was in high school, it went with a shirt and slacks I made for a 4_H project, I wore it until the cuffed pants went out of style.
