Daughter Crystal has a birthday Monday
and requested fingerless mittens.
I chose this pattern and Chroma fingering sock yarn from Knit Picks.
She chose this color called forest floor.
I tried to get the stripes to match up but on the third attempt,
I decided if she doesn't like these, I do.
I feel like I'm putting a lot of pressure on myself to get both of these finished before Monday.
Truth is, I'm going to work on the mittens
and ignore the socks.
I must get ready for Soctoberfest.........
I need to wind my yarn so I can make my socks 2 at a time.
I'm going to use the Circle Socks pattern.
I need the needles the mittens are on to start my Opal socks.
Monday will be here too soon.....
Oh the pressure!!!
I've heard it's going to rain for a few days.....
Perfect cuddle in the chair and knit weather.
I wonder when that's supposed to happen...
Check out Judy L's socks and see
what others have On The Needles here.

Whoa! That is a lot you have to get done by Monday. You can do it!
The fingerless mitts are going to be great.
Thanks for the link to the Circle socks! I would have never discovered them without your post, and I am casting on as soon as I get home tonight! Don't have any self striping yarn, but a multicolor handprint should work too, don't you think?

Great projects on the needles!
Thanks for the fingerless mitt pattern. I have one that is similar, but when I looked for it earlier this week, I couldn't find it.
I have no doubt that you will finish both projects by Monday. ;oD
The fingering Chroma is what I am using for the Wingspan scarf. It has very long variegation but it works wonderfully for the scarf. I am so burned out on fingerless mitts. I made so many pair last year for sale and still have a lot.
Your needles are going to be smokin' You can do it!
