Hand Stitching On Sunday
My poor hexi project has been kind of ignored. I haven't worked on in for a while. I've been in sewing and knitting mode with a few self imposed challenges and deadlines.
One evening I added another cream row and used up the fabrics I had cut. I spent some time the other day cutting cream fabrics and finding some blues and grays for the sky. You can see my EQ7 plan here. This is a long term project because there are too many Christmas projects to get done.
I think in the deep dark winter this will help me look forward to spring. Until then, I will put it up on the shelf and make a dates with myself to get it out and work on it once in a while. Do you ever do that? Mark the calendar with something special just for you? I think I might do that more often...
Today I'm linking up with Kathy's Quilts Slow Sunday Stitching.

That's a great idea, to put it aside, but to put it on the calender with a date as a reminder to get back to it.
It is starting to come together. Hexies are slow going, but oh so cute.
Love all the greens and cream you've used. That's the nice thing about handwork, it's easy to pick up when you have some down time.
That is a great idea...a "hexie date" to look forward to! Thanks for linking up to Slow Sunday Stitching!
I give good credits to all of you who can sit a stitch a gazillion hexies. I could maybe struggle through 6, but that would most likely be the end of that for me. I love watching your plan progress Judy.
