Design Wall Monday

After doing a bunch of necessary things around the house yesterday and unpacking retreat projects, I sat down for a few minutes to sew some of my units into blocks.

This is called Sanctuary from Kim Brackett's Scrap-Basket Beauties.  I'm using flannel 2 1/2" strips that we have swapped at previous retreats.  It's already looking so soft and cuddly.  I can't wait to make more blocks and start moving them around.  If you are a collector/user of strips, this is a fabulous book to have in your library.

But first I'm going to tour Blogland to see some fabulous Design Walls that are linked up to Patchwork Times.

What a great pattern for using up 2.5" strips, or 'bricks' (which I just happen to have a zillion of) and yours is looking very, very cozy.

I remember cutting strips for that swap. So glad you had fun with the gals at Retreat! I've been lazy this AM, nearly noon and I'm just getting started on my Hopping.
