Scrappy Saturday
Not much scrappy sewing has gone on this week. Instead of sitting in front of the sewing machine, I've been in front of the long arm. I've been busy quilting. And that is a good thing.
Last week someone said they would get themselves too confused using the card trick block as a leader/ender. I am happy to report that so far I'm doing OK. I sew the l/e and then start my next seam, clip the l/e off, give it a quick press and put it right back where it belongs. And I have those 2 road maps right there close. I love my little flannel design wall.
See other great scrappy yellow projects at SoScrappy. I'm going outside to enjoy that bit yellow ball in the sky before it disappears again in a couple days. Happy Weekend.

Sounds like you have a nice system for keeping track of your LNE blocks. Mine is a little more random -- sew a block, drop it in a pile next to the machine, pick it up off the floor, try to remember what it was for, repeat.
Love the color combo of your Card Trick block.
Pretty! Enjoy the sun; it finally showed its face here, too.
I love that block. Especially in yellow.
That is a great idea for making more complex leader-ender blocks. My l/e projects are out of control at the moment!
VERY cute lil' design wall! Functional :)
