Yeah me!
The Quilt As You Go String Quilt is finished!
It's fun to turn on a good book and just sew.
The string bin doesn't feel any lighter.
I know it is.
I love using up scraps of batting and
deep stash fabrics that I'm not in love with any more.
I also love the randomness of the backing.
There is no pressure when you just pick a block and
join it to the previous block.
It is now in the washer almost ready for the dryer.
My favorite part of quilting is pulling the warm quilt from the dryer the first time
and having a good, toasty snuggle.

Congrats! on your finish. I've got a String Quilt on the go. Having is completed would be really nice!
I love your string quilt. It is so bright and looks like something my grandma might have made.
Great finish! I like your rectangular blocks and your setting.
Great job Judy! I have been cutting all my strings into 1" strips and giving them to my boss for rugs. Now I won't have to make a string quilt, although I love yours.
What a great way to begin the year! Congratulations.
Now you can go back to sunny southern France with En Provence as you look out over all the snow.
Awesome start into the new year Judy! I love all that bright happiness!
