I made some time this afternoon to lay out the Pineapple Blossom blocks. I am now letting it rest and will come back to it later to make sure I like the looks of it. I'm sure there will be some twisting and turning somewhere.
This quilt has such fun fabrics. Old fabrics and new fabrics. I just now see where my aqua spots are going to need some moving around.
The quilt blocks were not the only things layed today. One of my spring chicks layed her first little egg today. I am thrilled. The first one of the 8 chicks. 5 of my young hens are Buff Orpingtons They are such good chickens and great layers. We should be overrun with eggs soon. Simple pleasures....

-scrappy goodness going on there!!
Judy, that quilt is going to look amazing! Yay for eggs!
I like those simple pleasures too! ((Until they start taking over all the fridge space)) :)
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your Pineapple Blossoms! Always one of my favorite Bonnie patterns :-)
Great looking eggs. Glad you got all your pineapple blocks done too-- balancing all the colors is one of those jobs that is easier after the blocks have sat for a bit.
Love your pineapple blossoms! Great scrappy pattern. I do the same thing - lay the quilt blocks out on the bed in the guest room, ponder, walk around, let it be for a day or so, move things around, etc. I have to keep the door shut or my cat Tigger will "help" with the process, which involves flinging blocks onto the floor. I don't know if that is an editorial comment that he doesn't like the block or if he's just playing.
Yeah for the new chick! Love the pineapple blocks. That's one of my favorite quilts that I finished this year. I ended up sashing it.
Love your pineapple blossom blocks. Love the scrappy color; feels like spring. I love fresh eggs, but not taking care of animals; they get my dandruff up! LOL
