Big Girl Steps

My baby steps of yesterday turned to big girl steps today.
Tomorrow I plan to put the borders on. Hubby is busy in the morning and then we have plans for the afternoon.

I'd like to turn this into a finished top in the morning. Wish me luck.

I have been racking my brain on how to quilt this. I don't have a clue but something will pop into my head, hopefully.

Right now I'm going to spend some time with my book and then with my pillow.

Wow, good job in record time. Love the colours. How big is it?

Oh! Very pretty sis! I really like this one. I love the steadfast classicness of stars. I know classicness isn't a word, but I like it and it fits! I want to see pictures when it's done.

What a pretty quilt top!

That's a great quilt, especially for one started with a strip you want to use up. I'm bookmarking that pattern!

Simply Lovely! Does it have a name, yet?

I like the way you've done this. I never understood why Bonnie put those boxes in the corner. It took away from the stars.

When I was considering making this quilt, I thought about doing the same thing. I would make mine much more scrappy than yours though (trying to use up those strips) and use lots of different lights. Love your quilt!!!

I didn't realize you'd just started this one -- you've made quick work of it.
