I got all 144 8" log cabin blocks finished Sunday morning.
I don't have a big enough design wall to lay out the whole quilt,
so I am doing it in quarters.
First quarter is sewn together,
second quarter has 4 rows on the wall before I ran out of space.
I'll web these rows together then put it back up on the wall without the first quarter
and lay out the remaining 2 rows.
I'll just lay out the first horizontal row of the third quarter against the first quarter,
then remove it and move the blocks up to finish the layout.
Of course I had to lay out my finished split 9 patch blocks.
These are the current leader/ender project.

what a pretty Leader Ender project.
currantly I don't have one, but I love it when I do. seems to make it more intersting.
Wow, you've got the pedal to the floor getting all those log cabins done. Great job. And, the split 9 patch is coming along great. Do you know how many you are aiming for?
I love your Log Cabin, and those split nine patches are fabulous. I'm going to need a new L/E project soon, and I've always wanted to do a split nine patch. Do you pre-cut a whole pile of triangles?
Log cabin blocks and scrappy squares are colorful. I can see why you have run out of design wall space. Nice work!
Such fun COLOR going on in your sewing room today Judy! Love your projects :*)
The log cabin is lovely. Like all the purples against the light golds. Great L&E project.
Usually the canning disasters involve sticky stuff like peaches--so ALL the jars are gummed up. Log cabins are always comforting--you just want to cuddle in them.
love that log cabin L.O.V.E. it and the scrappy split 9 patch too!!!
Fabulous progress!
Glad you are back going full speed after your hiatus. Nice L/E blocks. I'm passing on yet another Challenge of Bonnie's. My Bowtie is still unfinished. I have to use my Midnight Flight parts for my L/E until it is done!
Love the Log cabin blocks! Very pretty.
I'm loving your two projects - especially the log cabins. I need to get me another L/E project soon. Am seriously considering the split 9 patch after seeing so many this week on DWM. Thanks for sharing.
Fabulous quilt, Judy! I love it.
