In the true spirit of National Sewing Month, I have sewn every day. Yesterday I finished the 9th block for Nabby's Dowry. Only 2 more installments to go. I am caught up and waiting. I'm wondering with all those half square triangles out of my bin why it doesn't look like I took any out.
Then I pulled out my log cabin blocks and sewed on those for a while. I had to cut more strips for this last bunch. I know I will need to pull out more background fabrics and lots more color fabric and cut more strips.
Everyday I have worked on Mae's Flower Garden. Yesterday she saw it on the wall and asked if it was hers and will it be done tomorrow. Precious little thing!!! I was very honest and told her that I was working hard on it but it will be a long time before it is finished. But knowing my sweet little girl, when she sees it again, she will ask if it will be done tomorrow.
And the Baby Quilt from last week is a complete top. Today I will get the back for it and get it quilted this week.

Hey those blocks look very familiar! Mine are all caught up and on todays post too. You have been busy, glad you are feeling better and can sew again.
So glad to hear that someone got some sewing done.............
Looking good Judy!! Love the blocks with the HSTs and I see your log cabin blocks are taking shape.
Your Grandma's Flower Garden blocks are precious and before your little one knows it she will be sleeping under it!!
I really like your small HST blocks - they look lovely!
OOh... I like the idea of sewing every day but couldn't get off the couch after reading and napping yesterday -- heck we went to church and ran errands yesterday before we got home. Great excuse, yes? Lovely blocks and congrats on being up to date!
Wow, Judy, lots going on in your corner of the sewing world. I love your Nabby's Dowry! I looks like a lot of lovely jewels have been tossed about. Wonderful progress on all three.
You are making great progress on all of your wonderful projects. You go girl!! Your GFG is looking particularly good. I assume you are hand piecing that one.
Nabby's Dowry looks so good. I love the scrappy yet controlled look of the blocks. The flower garden is great but Oh, so much hand sewing.
Fantastic progress on your blocks. The Flower Garden hexies are gorgeous.
Yikes! You are an inspiration and I'd better get busy! What beautiful progress.
Never a dull moment in your sewing room--these are all so pretty and perking along!
Absolutely love your blocks. All of them. I'm working on hexies and log cabin blocks. My two favorites. You're a real inspiration.
Love the Nabby's Dowry blocks all from scraps! It has been a fun project over the summer...I'm a wee but behind but will catch up soon!
