It's A Quilt Top
The Ultimate Scrap Quilt Like Julie's is officially a quilt top. All 2200 scrap pieces. When I first saw Julie's quilt, I knew I had to have one like hers. So publicly I'd like to thank Julie for making hers and not minding that I copied it. Thank you Julie!
I started cutting with my GO! until I had a lots and lots of triangles. As soon as I had them all sewed together, I cut more and more and more. The scrap bin was emptied, smaller chunks were cut and eventually fat quarters were shortened. This top used 440 large triangles, 440 print small triangles and 1320 small neutral triangles. I cut more than that so I think I might make the extras into a pillow or 2.
Don't get me wrong, I still have lots of scraps......bins and bins of strips and squares. I have other projects in mind for them but first I have some quilting to focus on.

It's a beautiful quilt. All the cutting would drive me crazy, so I'd need to purchase a GO. ;oD
What a great scrap buster to use the the GO! Baby! Great job. I must put this on my summer 2012 list.
WOW
love it-love the colors, love that it used up so many scraps for you, love that you have a top together!!
I have some kind of special triangle cutting ruler (I just found yesterday-horrors!) I'm thinking the quilt on the package looks sorta like yours. I will have to investigate further; just for curiosity's sake, of course. There is no way I'm starting another quilt right now--no way. :)
Fabulous! What a huge scrap buster that is, eh?
I love it Judy, way to go!
WOWSER! you should be proud! it's gorgeous!
thanks for sharing!
OHHHHhhh.......
....the TEMPTATION!!!!!!!!!........
EXCELLENT scrap buster; fabulous quilt!
Wowie zowie! 2200! That is truly impressive! And pretty, to boot. Nicely done.
It turned out fabulous, Judy. This is my all time favorite scrap quilt. If I had a Go cutter, I'd be tempted to make another. But all those triangles....I get tired thinking about it.
Way to go! And so pretty! Though the numbers of pieces involved are always mind boggling to me...
I LOVE this!!!
Absolutely amazing!
Great job Judy. Love the spring feeling I get when viewing the top. I don't have scraps like these so it's nice to look at others' quilt in this style.
