Design Wall Monday
I participated in a birthday block swap with my small online group. We each chose a block and everyone that signed up made you a block for your birthday. I chose Sunny Lanes from Quilter's Cache. I wanted easy and I wanted scrappy.
I made a couple for myself and then put them away with great plans to finish it up soon. Fast forward almost two years. I got the bag of blocks out of the bin and put them up on the wall. There were 14 blocks so I sat down and made 2 more. After looking at it for a while, I decided I wanted it to be longer.
So I sat down and made 4 more blocks, moved more blocks around and now this is no longer on my wall but sewn into a top waiting for the final pressing.
I like nice lazy Sundays. Hubby went into town and brought dinner home with him, we ate and then he watched TV and dozed and I sewed. Now I can mark progress for this on my UFO list. Hopefully I will mark this one as done in a couple days.
Visit Judy L's and see what everyone else is up to.

Don't you just love good progress like that?
Very pretty, scrappy quilt. Quilters' ache has so many great patterns.
Oops, a bit of a typo there. should have read Quilter's Cache. Maybe a freudian slip? LOL
What a great scrappy looking quilt! Very cool!
Love, love that quilt. It already looks like a "to be loved" quilt.
oh that's a nice quilt--love scrappy. And one more finish...you go girl.
Yea for UFO's completed. Sorry I didn't remember to take a list of ladies in the Portland area while we were there last week-end... Didn't want to broadcast it over Facebook.
the sunny lanes pattern is one of the best!
