Design Wall Monday
Basting, basting, basting. That was on my radar most of the weekend. I am so close to the finish line on this quilt.
I'm using a poly batting for this one with flannel for the backing. I think a certain little boy is going to love it! Most of the quilting is done, the binding is a red stripe cut on the bias and it is sitting next to the machine taunting me. It wants to be on this quilt. I think the bias stripe binding and the zig zaggety edges are just plain fun and are perfect for this I Spy quilt.
I did manage to sew 5 more Pineapple Crazy blocks while staying with the kiddos. Maybe I could have done a couple more but it was more fun snuggling on the couch watching movies. Have you seen Home yet? We watched it twice! It is so cute and funny...watch it with children if you can!
See what others have happening at Patchwork Times.

Oooh, you've made a lot of progress since last I checked in. I often take a project to work on when with my grands. Home is out on DVD now? I need some birthday presents for the girls so this might be a great idea. Thanks for the suggestion.
I went with my DH, 2 grandson's and DD#2 to see Home. I enjoyed it. Glad you could enjoy some Grands time. This is my week for Grands to come for Basketball Camp. I'll have just small snippets of time to play in the Quilt Zone. Cleaning & scrap-busting is on the agenda.
Was this for Bonnie Hunter's Leader/Ender Challenge? If so, I think you MAY have gotten a little carried away with yourself. Cute quilt, though!! I get sucked in to my Leader/Ender projects, too. LOL
Cute tumblers! I am doing them in red/white/blue, started with 3.5" squares. I have not seen Home, had not even heard of it.
WOW! That was a fast construction! It is a fun quilt!
