Design Wall Monday
I did it!! I said last week I'd like to have Millefiore Rosette #1 finished by the end of the week. I finished Friday evening.
On Wednesday, I took a stack of blue fabrics to show my Binding Friends group so they could help me choose which to use for my next rosette. After much discussing, we thought blue and orange would be a fun combination. They were right, it is. I'll show you progress next week.
This week my focus is back on quilting. I will spend the day basting my next project. I'll get my tables set up this morning, find something on Netflix and pin away. Bobbins are wound and a quilting design is in my head.
See what others are working on at Patchwork Times.

What a beautiful block. Enjoy your basting. Even though it is tedious, it gets you so much closer to having a finished quilt.
Beautiful! You've inspired me to try this out. Now to figure out where I put the book.
How big is your Flower? I like the pink and green. I wonder what quilt you are basting too. Have fun quilting this week. It's always a hard choice to Piece or to Quilt...
How amazing that looks.
I really want to see blue and orange. My favourite colour is blue. My mother's favourite colour is orange and I always thought that was weird until I became a scrap quilter, now it is my second favourite colour. Maybe I ought to think about a blue and orange quilt.

I want to do one of these quilts...........I am just plain scared to through.
wow --- gorgeous ...
Ooooo! I can't wait to see your blue and orange! You realize that might be the rosette that pushes me over the edge into starting my own...
Beautiful! It looks very difficult.
