Rainbow Scrap Challenge-Purple
February is Purple month for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge at SoScrappy. I decided to do the Turnstile block for my Row Quilt. Each 6" block will use different fabrics.
I cut pieces for my scrappy stars but with little sewing time today, only one Turnstile block got sewn. I'll spend some time kitting up a few of each block to use as leader/enders. That sure makes the blocks go together fast. I'll kit up the Dresden Plates block so it will be ready when I am ready.
See other great Scrappy Happy projects here at SoScrappy.

Well your one Turnstile block is very pretty and delicate looking.
I like the block you are using and they will make a really pretty quilt!
I had never heard of a Turnstile block before. I thought it was just a regular pinwheel until I took a closer look. Very cute!

Cute block. I like the "P S I love you" fabric. Where ever did you find it?
What a cute block. It will be nice to have some kitted up. Enjoy!
You are so smart to kit up your projects. I always wait till the last moment and then try to grab something to do as I am headed out the door.
Great start. Yes it takes time to kit up but then it goes faster. I felt the same way.
That will make a great row...have fun sewing it up!
PURPLE??? I should join this month's challenge...Nah, I don't have time for another one. Nice Turnstile block.
What a great row you are going to have! I love this block and have never seen or heard of it. Very pretty.
