Simple Solution

I'm a little bit height impaired.........short to most people.  I wanted that brown scrap bin off the top shelf and I couldn't reach it for some reason.  I didn't have any trouble shoving it up there...I guess I didn't think too far ahead on this one.  ;o)

Paint stick to the rescue!!!  I got these to use in the back of wall hanging but haven't used even one for that yet. This one will have a permanent home on the container shelf.  I'll do some moving of the bins though as I can see this won't work well for me as it is.  Things that are used less often will have to go up on that high shelf.

I'm using my timer today. I really want to sew, so instead of just sitting and sewing, I'm sewing for 20 minutes, organizing for 20 minutes.  Win, win.   Back to sewing, labeling, re-arranging and putting stuff away.

I hate being 'vertically challenged'. Happy to see you using the paint stick...I have a step stool that I use to reach high.

Great scrap organization. Little bit by little bit it will get done. Way to stick with it.

WOW! You are really making great progress! Keep posting about it... you are inspiring me to get busy and work on mine. I'm thinking perhaps NEXT week I will have an opportunity to really make great progress in my room. This week I am running from one thing to another with very little free time for anything.

Yeap!! that's me as well short and a 6ft woman in here trying to get out side ways....yes I also seem to file things to high and end up with them on my head when I try to hook them down.... thus there is a lot on the floor in piles. hugs Laurie

Great idea....in the kitchen I use my tongs to grab at things I can't reach.
I love all your quilts hanging on the line. Cute looking chickens.

Hasn't this sunshine been great? The garden is calling really loudly though....... You've got some nice projects going.

It is hard to be vertically challenged as well I know...... My most used item in the kitchen is the step stool...... Great up and down exercise...

Glad you got some stitching in......

I love your paint stick! I use my yardstick to snag and pull out stuff that falls behind my sewing desk and ironing board - beats scrunching down to get it! - ;))
