Design Wall Monday

Crumbs! I'm playing with crumbs. Remember Jo's Crumb Along? I'm a little behind. I want to make some like she showed,--stars, triangles, pinwheels, maybe a few more geese.

I haven't had a lot of sewing time this week but when I did sew, I mostly played with crumbs and strings. This weekend is another retreat-I know, lucky me! And a few of us are going to sit together, dump out our crumbs and strings and go crazy. How much fun will we have?!? I am going in with a plan, the other gals are crumb beginners. I know for one of them, this is a major milestone but she is super excited and I am excited to show them how to do this.

I'm going over to Judy L's now to start checking other design walls......I should be there for a while.

Have a great time at your retreat. And, pictures, take plenty of pictures. I haven't gotten on the crumb bandwagon but some day I probably will. Hopefully, I can hold off a bit more.

Have fun with your Crumbs this week-end. Maybe I'll get to join you again next year.

You have lots of great blocks on your design wall. I'm glad you are having fun retreating. I think this time of year we need to get away for awhile. I'm retreating 2 weeks from tomorrow. I can't wait. Have fun!

What a wall full of fun! Hard to go wrong with crumbs, there really is no way to mess them up.

What fun! A collaborative crumb-along with laughter and snacks sounds like a wonderful party.

I haven't even been in the studio all week but tomorrow I plan on a full day of sewing. I have swap blocks to make and send along, a backing for a Christmas gift quilt to make, and three table runners to piece for Christmas. I think I am procrastinating: I have been moving furniture instead...not as much fun.
