It's been 4 weeks since retreat and I am finally working on my Judy Niemeyer's Golden Harvest project. I took it with me Wednesday to our Binding Friends group and worked on the pieced border units. Then I saw
this post by Jackie and knew I had to work on it again. So last night after the company left, I finished all the big border units. Then I had to put it up on the wall to look at it. (
And to get the curve sections in the right spots because I had already messed that up on one section.)
I think if I steal bits of time here and there, I can sew a curve or 2 together. I am always amazed at how much I can get done in a few minutes.
Check out
Judy L's for other fabulous design walls.

STUNNING! Beautiful and challenging design!
I love this quilt! I wish I had the patience for paper piecing.
It is STUNNING!!!!!! I love all her patterns. You've done a fabulous job on this. I'll be watching you progress to see it finished
that's fantastic--the center is amazing!!the curves would make me nuts!
'you go girl!'
Beautiful, Judy! Stealing a few minutes is the benefit of having a sewing area always set up--I have been lucky with that and always had at least a desk in the corner of some room with my sewing machine on it, everywhere I have lived! Someday I'll get a sewing ROOM again.
Very impressive quilt. You are doing a great job.
This looks great! Curves scare me, I admire you tackling it.
WOW! that is all I can say. WOW!
WOW, Judy! This is going to be absolutely gorgeous!!
Fantastic! Your post makes me want to take a paper piecing class! Great Job! Toni
I think I'm going to have to make this quilt one day. I just LOVE it every time I see it! I don't think you can fail no matter what color palette you use. I checked out your like back to Judy Neihmeyer class--thank you! I'm going to check out her schedule and see if she's ever coming to the west coast. Happy quilting!
Beautiful! Wish you lots of 'few minutes' that you can spend on your Golden Harvest!
Wow! What a gorgeous quilt. Her patterns just can't be beat.
I remember the Spokane ladies working on a Judy N quilt last November at Retreat. Maybe I'll get to come again someday. Curves and Paper piecing. NOT fun for me...
