What a whirlwind week!
This getting up early and out the door has messed up my head.
We get home about 8:30 from getting the kiddos on the bus and
by the time I get done with the stuff I need to do,
I'm too tired to sew.
But I made myself go in and sit down and
pretty soon, I was happily doing what I love to do.
All parts of Good Fortune are complete.
I had to set it aside for a while though.
I have a special baby quilt that needs to be finished
and in the mail tomorrow.
That is my focus for today.
Saturday and Sunday were baking days.
I made up a bunch of breakfast muffins and bars to take to the kiddos for the week.
Then I made Ernie a lemon meringue pie.
It's our favorite pie and I don't make it often.
It felt good to be in baking mode for a bit.
Now back to quilting mode. 😃
Check out all the goodness over at
and
Have a wonderful week.

Your mystery quilt colors are so bright and cheery. It will be fun to see the completed quilt. And your pie looks yummy!!
I make Lemon Meringue pie for my DH on jes Birthday. Tomorrow is mine so I made myself Cream Puffs and Crullers.
Glad you got your blocks all done.
Your mystery quilt looks fabulous, but OH MY, that lemon meringue pie!!! I haven't eaten lemon meringue pie in DECADES. That unleashed a whole flood of food memories for me! I hope it tasted as good as it looks in the picture!
Your mystery is so fun! I do enjoy seeing all the progress on them. Yum on the pie! I used to have those dishes! A friend needed dishes so I gave them to her a couple years ago and bought new ones. I wish I could eat lemon meringue pie! YUM! Food allergies are no fun!
Gosh I could sure use a slice of pie right now! Yum! Your quilt looks like mine :) Looking good, Judy!
Oh wow, now I want some lemon meringue! Yum!
Your mystery parts are looking good, too.
Your Good Fortune is looking pretty! Oh, that lemon meringue pie! Yum!
I don't even remember the last lemon pie I made but it sure sounds good right now. I'm looking forward to seeing your Mystery when finished.
