Slow Stitching On Sunday
I'm still stitching along on Millifiore. This is block 6. I was so excited to start and now I'm not sure of my plan for this block. But whenever anyone posts this thought on the Facebook page, everyone encourages them to keep going. So that is what I'm going to do. After I fix a couple of whoopsies and get that last part sewn in.
The purple triangles were not this way in the original design. But I had the extra triangle papers from past blocks so I used them instead of piecing 2 papers to make 1 triangle out of the same tone on tone fabric. I'm sure the original was fussy cut.
I'm anxious to start the next round. I have one set of blocks ready to baste and the second set of blocks still needs a decision for the focus fabric. Right now I"m iffie.....
Maybe by next Sunday the decision will be made. In the meantime, I'm going to see what others are working on at Kathy's Quilts: Slow Sunday Stitching.

Way to go Judy!!! I've only finished the first two blocks, but I love them!!! And I have no real plan, I just enjoy working on them and I've been kind of following Katja's color plan. I hope you continue so I can enjoy watching your beautiful blocks come together too :-) I'm glad I didn't put myself in a box to have these finished any particular time - that way I can enjoy the freedom of working on them when I can.
The nice thing about slow stitching is that it leaves plenty of time for slow decision making. Looking beautiful!
My hat goes off to anyone doing this quilt. Happy stitching today!
looks good so far...I will check back next week to see your progress. Nice bright colours!
Your block is very striking - well done!
I, too, am struggling with picking fabric and colors...seems to come so naturally to some but it sure doesn't to me! This is such a beautiful pattern though so let's both hang in there and enjoy every minute!
So fun Judy! It's such a long term project and I love to see each bit of progress!
