...November Retreat #2 Project Round Up.
Retreat was a blast!
I always have such a great time and come home so inspired.
I spent most of the time quilting my hexie wall hanging.
This poor thing has been ignored since August.
After watching my friend Neta free motion quilt at last retreat,
I was inspired to quilt at this retreat.
The quilting is by no means perfect but
I sure had fun doing it and watching the progress.
I also pin basted this New York Beauty table topper.
Looking back in the blog, I see it was a UFO that I worked on in the fall of 2011.
So it has now been properly aged and needs be seen and used.
I'm not sure what I'm going to quilt in the border or the curved centers.
So far it's just stitch in the ditch and echo quilting.
Any ideas???
Something is happening with my brand new camera,
I don't know if it needs charged or if I did something to it so
I had to used the old standby that doesn't take the best pictures.
Sorry.
I had to use these pictures, I can't miss Design Wall Monday!
Go to Patchwork Times to see all the fabulous walls!

Love the hexie quilt, looks terrific! I haven't been brave enough to try a NY Beauty but yours is really pretty. Glad retreat was a great time :)
Glad you tried quilting at the Retreat. You are so lucky you live close to RR. I am hurried sometimes for posting my DEM, I don't like to miss out, either.
Your hexie wall hanging is beautiful! A NY Beauty is on my bucket list, but I'm not ready to tackle that one just yet, either.
I love seeing your hexie wall hanging all finished. It came out wonderfully. And I agree that your NY Beauty has aged the appropriate amount of time. Every quilt in it's own time. Good work, Judy.
Both quilts are gorgeous, Judy! Is the hexie one your own pattern? I love the scrappiness of the New York beauty.
Two fabulous projects - I love both of them, but the hexie flowers are so cute!
hahaha..."now been properly aged..." You crack me up! Beautiful quilts, just beautiful!
So glad you had fun at retreat! You are making great progress with the UFO's!
