Hand Stitching On Sunday

Ms. Owl is now residing on my bed.
She thinks she's pretty special.
I agree.

I used some strips left from this quilt to add to her glory.
They were already sewn in sets of 4.
That was perfect for zipper placement.
I used poly batting scraps to make her extra fluffy.

Little Birdie is coming along.
She is my Wednesday project.
Easy to work on her and chat it up with the gals.

Kathy showed her needle threader,
this is mine.
I found it in with the crewel supplies at JoAnn's.
Kathy also showed me my next project.

Visit Kathy and her Slow Sunday Stitching post.

What a fun blog post! Love the Ms. Owl pillow...she does have attitude and is keeping her eyes on you!
Great scrappy back too.
You better get little birdie finished so you can get to work on your Christmas stitchery project...isn't it cute?!?
I've never seen a threader like that...does it work well? Seems to be more portable than the one I use.

Yes, the threader is a great one - so easy to use.

Love all the stitching projects, finished, in the works, and planned.

Well done. our pillow is great and you finished it. Always a good thing for a quilter. I see you have the red brolly pattern. I am going to check it out.

Ms. Owl is so sweet! The pieced back is a really nice idea and a good use for left-overs. I'm thinking the next time I venture to the "big city" I will need to look for a needle threader like this. Is the smaller end tiny enough to fit through standard hand-sewing needles?
