Can you hear me singing? If so, I'm sorry. I can't help myself. I have finally finished this UFO. I have not been very successful with the 2011 UFO Challenge. I posted about my February project here and here and again here.
Today I will post that it is finished! My new goal for August is to get a couple more of these UFOs marked off my list. I am motivated now more than ever before to reduce that pile of quilt tops. I would love it if I could have a year when all of my planned projects are complete. Realistic? Maybe not but I'm sure going to try. So 2 finishes with 7 left to be caught up. Can I do it? Let's see. I may need a push now and then, but please be gentle.
Now I must do something to get ready for company tomorrow....

BEA-U-TIFUL QUILT, Judy!! "Finished" feels SOOOOO good, doesn't it?! These blocks are stunning, and so well worth your effort to complete this project.
It's always good to have a Ta Da and even better when it is a UFO. Nice job!
Even if it's February's UFO! DONE IS DONE! Congrats, Judy, you can do it!
Woo Hoo, it does feel good doesn't it. Now go tackle one that is almost done, because when you get two behind you, then nothing can stop you from the rest.
Oh what a beautiful quilt! Way to go, I'm so happy for you. I think you (and me too) can finish our UFO's/flimsy's this year-as long as we don't start too many things--we have to start some...that's what we do! right?? ;)
It's a beautiful quilt Judy. I feel like you always finish a lot when I come to visit. I have finished 5 things from my UFO pile (three are small) in the last couple of weeks, and it does motivate me to keep on going. Good job on the finish. I love the pink and brown combination.
That is an absolutely striking, beautiful quilt, congratulations!!! Love the colors and design..... and everything about it. Lovely work.
What a wonderful quilt, you did a fantastic job!
The bottom right corner block is the same block that is on a small quilt drapped across the bottom of my bed... love it!
Now set your timer on 20 minutes and work on another UFO!
Congrats on the finish, Judy. It looks wonderful, and quite challenging.
Congratulations! It's amazing Judy! I am clapping for you...can you hear it?!? I love how each block has unique quilting...that's a ton of work there!
Good luck with the UFO's...it's a chronic issue for quilt lovers!
What a gorgeous quilt...congrats on the finish! This is the year of finished tops for me too! Keep up the beautiful work!
Nice job, Judy! It doesn't matter how long it takes, it's finished and that's the important thing. You kept on keeping on until it was done and good for you! I love it and love the colors too.
I have alot of tops to quilt too and haven't gotten enough done this year but I'm enjoying the journey. I know a quilt isn't a quilt until it's finished but I like the process almost as much as the finish. At least I keep telling myself that. Have a great weekend and I hope you get alot more done too.
Wohoo, what a beauty! And a finish it is. You can do it, and every finish it one less top in the pile. Keep on sewing on!
Beautiful quilt!
Looks GREAT, i'd be singing too!
