I'm working on my Crabapple pieced border. I put my pieces up on the design wall. I count how many more I need to make. I need to cut more muslin strips. I'm using only muslin as my background. I go to the background fabric drawer. I can't find a piece of muslin. Not one little piece! Panic......... I look in my strip drawers......nothing! Serious Panic.....
But I need to fold that load of clothes from the dryer first! Darn me for starting that timer game I like to play. It's a great game though because I get lots done on timer game day........

I use a timer, too. It helps me stay focused.
Do they make adjustable timers? You know, a timer where the 20 minutes is extra LONG if you are doing something you like to do, and extra SHORT if you are doing housework. That would be right down my alley!

Don't you wonder why it is that we have all of this "stuff" but many times we can't find just what we need? I think the timer is a great idea. I'll try that out tomorrow!
whew! glad you found the muslin motherlode!! I've had to go diving in the strings bin myself before.
Glad I am not the only one searching for fabric I put somewhere special - and then can't remember... Can't wait to see your Crabapple top!
oh the fabric bins, I feel so lucky to have them

I usually can't find a book. I will be looking at it dreaming of a new project then BLAM, the book is gone. I can look sometimes for a week or more, then BLAM, there it is. Weird. Sometimes I wonder if the men in my life are playing tricks on me, but probably not. They think if they touch anything quilt related their fingers will catch fire.
Love the timer game. I guess it works both ways, motivating us to get started and making sure we move on. Great work. Can't wait to see the finished quilt.
I love all those wonderful nine patches! I'm also in love with that pattern, too. Maybe someday......
