I haven't tried the Felici yarn but if it's your favorite, I may have to order some.Grannyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10720927550545452529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20706151.post-84869383642356197602011-03-12T06:56:35.521-08:002011-03-12T06:56:35.521-08:00But he is sooo darn cute! How could you be mad at that adorable face?!?
I think you should make a pair of socks in the yarn at the top of the photo with just a hint of teal running through...in a size 9!Quilter Kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16870660916547202929noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20706151.post-8068567801238297032011-03-10T20:58:16.345-08:002011-03-10T20:58:16.345-08:00Ooh, that would be one dog out in the back yard! ...Ooh, that would be one dog out in the back yard! He would have to stay out for some time too! I'm sorry you had to unknit (I call it tinking -Knit spelled backwards). I am unknitting a sock right now. I had never made the pattern and it is way too big and I won't have enough yarn for both socks if I keep going so....I'm tinking it too. I've never tried the Knitpicks yarn but I've heard lots of good things about them. I'm going to have to give them a try. Thanks for sharing the info.Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13858230629342252482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20706151.post-78715901549345175092011-03-10T09:45:24.624-08:002011-03-10T09:45:24.624-08:00BAD DOG!! That is what is on my needles right now and I love the feel of it. Sorry the sweater was such a bummer... I've never attempted to knit to fit my body. I couldn't fit it when I sewed, and I am certainly not going to put in hours of knitting only to discover that it doesn't fit. I'll just keep whipping out the socks because we don't have much need for scarves or hats in LA.

Katfancystitchinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10654207900601007111noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20706151.post-77111001355608685282011-03-10T07:24:59.706-08:002011-03-10T07:24:59.706-08:00LOL (although I appreciate your meltdown) over you...LOL (although I appreciate your meltdown) over your darn Mr. Tony dog! Sorry to say that 2-1/2 yr. olds usually still have a lot of puppy in them. I know you can't feel it now, but he has a very sweet face. ;)Barbarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12621581899286806108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20706151.post-55809564145675413092011-03-09T10:54:24.082-08:002011-03-09T10:54:24.082-08:00Great stash of sock yarn. I must get busy!

I understand your grief with unknitting the sweater. I did the same thing last year and did not look back. From the yarn, I made some warm mittens, a hat, and a scarf. The last bit is currently being knit into socks.Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18296050573667055406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20706151.post-13181117313897725262011-03-09T08:48:55.529-08:002011-03-09T08:48:55.529-08:00It's comforting to see I'm not the only on...It's comforting to see I'm not the only one who will "unknit" an entire project.

As for that darling dog, when ever one of my critters does something similar, I roll up a newspaper and smash myself in the side of the head with it. It's always my fault, as I've left something out and about that shouldn't be, and they are just doing what comes naturally, even though they know better.Angela Michaud-Mourerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17064554235948791546noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20706151.post-82819421002062111342011-03-09T08:04:39.014-08:002011-03-09T08:04:39.014-08:00Look at that sweet innocent face. Not the dog, never.Vicki Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06929340703066037054noreply@blogger.com
